New Patients: Your First Visit

Taking the first step toward feeling better should be easy. Here's what to expect, and how payment works.

What Happens at Your First Visit

Welcome. Our front desk will greet you and get you checked in. Please arrive a few minutes early for your first visit.
Consultation. Your doctor asks about your condition and history to decide whether chiropractic care is right for you. If it isn't, we'll help refer you to another provider.
Examination. A thorough chiropractic exam, including how you turn and bend, reflexes, and standard postural, neurological, and orthopedic tests. If needed, we may take X-rays or refer you for other testing.
Report of findings. Your doctor explains what we found and recommends a care plan, which may include adjustments, massage, or spinal decompression. Nothing is done without your consent.

Insurance: We'll help you make full use of your health care coverage. Call us and a staff member will walk you through it.
No insurance: We offer care plans that can work within your budget.
Auto accidents: Care after a car accident is often covered by auto insurance. We're happy to talk through your options.
Work injuries: We work with workers' compensation cases.
Medicare: If you're eligible for Medicare, we'll submit a receipt for your services to Medicare for you.
